I highly recommend going on an adventure with your I highly recommend going on an adventure with your kid.

We laughed, we ate, we had so much fun enjoying our city.

I enjoyed hearing about so many places he’s worked in the city and having him show me around places I hadn’t been before.

After years of being the tour guide and adventure planner, it’s fun to be on the receiving end!!

And visiting one of our favorites that we’ve been to time and time again since he was little was a fun treat too!

8 years of cancer free. God is faithful! I snapp 8 years of cancer free.
God is faithful!

I snapped this pic quickly while I was walking (to the car after eating ice cream for dinner..because…celebrating!)

8 years ago me might not have believed I’d still be here. That I’d be so happy. That I’d realize that cancer was one of the best things that’s ever happened to me.

Seeing God continue to be faithful, to give me exactly what I needed when I needed it, to love me so well through His presence and the people He’s put in my life….I’m thankful for all of it and so much more.

Here’s to snapping more pictures without checking and taking 5 more to post the best one.

To celebrating the big and little things in life.

To smiling, even if it causes wrinkles.

To feeling the sun on my face.

To timber what God has done and continues to do in my life.

And to be grateful for all of it.

Don’t stop asking, seeking and knocking! Don’t stop asking, seeking and knocking!
It was totally a 'but God' moment....the email I s It was totally a 'but God' moment....the email I struggled to finish writing because I'm struggling to figure out how God wants me to move, even though I have been asking and asking Him, is the one I received so much response from.

My email blew up with woman after woman stating how this message helped her. How it was the perfect words at the perfect time. And was the encouragement I needed to keep sharing what He puts on my heart.

God is good!

I almost missed this small moment of beauty. I h I almost missed this small moment of beauty.

I hopped out of the car on a grocery run, and gave a quick glance at the plants parked all along the curb where I had parked.

But then I saw it. A few of the tiny flowers were beginning to bloom. It was barely noticeable, but I noticed them, and had to stop to take a picture.

This photo is a reminder. A reminder that I stopped to pay attention to a small moment of beauty in my everyday life.

One, years ago, I never would’ve paused long enough to even notice.

But this journey that I’ve been on to notice the small moments of joy in the middle of my days has changed me.

The tiny bunny eating grass in my yard. The giggle of my granddaughter. The smile of a friend at a shared inside joke. The way the sun filters into the room through the trees. The pink of a sunset that is gone in a minute.

I still get caught up on my own head and my own agenda and miss a lot of beautiful moments God has created, but I notice a lot more than I used to.

For that I’m grateful.

Life is a journey, not a sprint, and I’m in it for the long haul of growth.

Even when it’s not happening as fast as I like, (tbh…that’s all the time!) God is slowing changing me, and I couldn’t be happier about that.

How about you? What beauty have you noticed lately?
