I was blessed to be a part of the launch team for this book….and I couldn’t be more honored to read her beautiful words. Last week, I was feeling anxious about writing a review for Undone, as I didn’t think I could do Michele Cushatt justice with my feeble attempts to string words together to describe how much Undone affected me. I posted these thoughts on the Facebook page for the launch team, and Michele herself responded to my post with the words, “there is zero pressure, my friend. None. Nada. The message of undone is that exactly who you are is beautiful enough. No need to be polished or perfect. In fact, I’d rather we all just hang out in our PJs and be real. Sound good?” And as I read Michele’s words to me, I realized what is one of the best parts of the book…it feels like you’re just sitting around with Michele in your PJ’s as she shares her struggles and the way God has been so faithful in her life. In complete ‘real-ness’. I have never met Michele, but after reading her story and the transparent way she describes her thoughts and emotions, you will feel like she is a lifetime friend, and you were just chatting at the kitchen table over a cup of coffee. And you will be blessed by the breathtaking way she weaves her story, the story of having an Undone life, and how she shows you that you are enough.
You will be undone by Undone in the most beautiful way
