Fair Trade Friday- Artisan Prayer

The Artisan Prayer

Dear God,

Thank you for allowing me to be a part of

someone’s story by purchasing their

creation.  You redeem everything,

especially brokenness.  I pray for the

hands that made what I’m wearing. I

pray they will know hope and

healing and abundant joy.

Provide for them and remind them they are not

forgotten.

In Jesus Name,

Amen.

Oh, how God is glorified in this prayer.  As I put on, use or give away the items contained in my Fair Trade Friday box, may these words, this sentiment, this prayer be on my heart. May I never lose sight of the way these items bless the lives of the artisans an ocean away, and how they provide for families I will never meet this side of heaven.

But one day, we will all be united, and I look forward to thanking these women for blessing me, challenging me and helping me to become closer with Jesus.

Will you prayerfully consider joining Fair Trade Friday?
