Ahh…quiet.
It’s a rare occasion that a momma gets some peace and quiet.
Because when the house gets too quiet, things like this can happen:
And then our day and home is anything but quiet!
But how I love some ‘peace and quiet’.
And I’ll bet you do too.
I’ve been reading the book The Fringe Hours by Jessica Turner, and really taking to heart the idea of using some of my time to do things that I love. To let other things that need to be done go, so I can instead focus on myself.
Because a happy momma creates a happy home.
A relaxed momma creates a relaxed home.
An inspired momma is an inspiration.
And these are the things I want for my home and my family. Happy, relaxed, inspired.
But to do this, I can’t run myself ragged. I need to take some time for myself, and I bet you need to too.
Let’s make us a priority, and let that load of laundry, dishes in the sink, dirty windows wait until another day.
Enjoy some quiet and something that makes your heart sing.
But a word of warning…if you have little ones, you may need to wait until you’re sure they’re asleep.
Because a scene like this
just might ruin your quiet time. Lol!
