Daily.
For the kids and for you.
The kids may give them up at age 2-7…but don’t give them up for you momma!
I survived college, the early days of motherhood, and often the tiring days of teenagers with a good power nap.
I highly recommend them.
When the baby sleeps. sleep. One of the best pieces of advice I ever received.
Naps are a gift I give myself and my family as often as I can.
I set a timer for 25-30 minutes, and drift off with a warm relaxed feeling enveloping me, and often waking with a pillow covered in drool. That’s a sign of a really delightful nap for me. Gross, but good.
And a rested momma is a happier momma, which makes for a happier family.
Because after all…
If momma ain’t happy, ain’t nobody happy!
